FinTrack Pro needed to solve a real problem — most personal finance apps are either too complex or too shallow. We designed and built a React Native app that works on both iOS and Android with a single codebase, without compromising on feel or performance. The result is an app 200,000 people open every morning.
Users were abandoning existing finance apps because the UI was overwhelming and setup took too long. The client needed a zero-friction onboarding flow and a home screen that surfaced the right information at a glance — net balance, spending trends, upcoming bills.
We built a progressive onboarding system that collects data over time rather than upfront. The dashboard uses an 8pt grid with strict visual hierarchy — the most important number always dominates. Animations reinforce confidence rather than distract. Plaid API handles bank connections securely.
